You don't use other people's work without their permission, that's really all this is about. If you want to use something, ask the author.

If naki's the owner of this place then follow him/her rules and policy, I'm with him/her. Don't use sprites without the creator's permission it's so mean to take there work and customize it for yourself and claim as your own really ridiculous. No one is showing off here were expressing ourselves with our art while you gloat about your SQL, Scripting hax skillz to your l33t friends (I'm sure you don't do that ).

Anyways back on topic: Ask before you take.

Well, I don't know how could u say this, but I think it's just ridiculous..

I mean, back to yourself, how if u create a sprite and somebody just easily stole it and use it without your permission? I'm not sure u would agree with that ..

In my opinions, it's alright if u're taking the sprites, I'll do it sometimes, but it's only for my collection & help me learn to make something better than that, and also, I never upload them in public as mine, even so, I'll give the credit to the creator ..

So once more, ask to the creator first or at least give them credit

I think you are probably under 10 yrs old? I dunno, what you said is just childish. It's totally ridiculous and such a selfish mind. We post our arts here for people to enjoy them, comment them, so we can improve our skills. And of course, it is NOT for stealing, jacking, taking over cridit, ect ect. Yes you can save them in your computer w/o asking for permission if that's just for your own collection. But if you wanna use it, then it's another story, you DO NEED a permission. I really don't know what is so difficult for people like you to ask before using someone's work. People sat there and worked on their arts for hours, and you just stole it in like.. 2 seconds? Yea right, bite me.

Sorry if my post is too harsh + my eng gramma error.

These sprite edits are artwork. They should not be used without the permission from the author. I admit, I have done it once previously, taken a portion of someones sprite edit, but I have corrected my selfish mistake. Personally I also own a deviantart, and I dont appreciate people who still others artwork. Its not a hypocrite policy, its plain being polite but instead of expecting of people which usually doesn't work, its put into a rule.
